Walk the Tidal Basin loop under the cherry trees

The paved loop around the Tidal Basin passes some of the oldest cherry trees in the original 1912 gift from Japan, with the Jefferson Memorial across the water and the MLK and FDR memorials along the way. It works as a run or a slow walk any time of year, but late March into early April is when the trees bloom.
