Eat at Sweet Home Café

The on-site restaurant is organized around four regional Black culinary traditions (Agricultural South, Creole Coast, North States, Western Range) and is a legitimate meal, not a museum-cafeteria afterthought. The fried chicken, mac and cheese, and collards come up again and again.
