Tour the replica Holy Land shrines and catacombs

at Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America

The monastery was built in 1898 to give American Catholics who couldn't travel to Jerusalem a place to see reproductions of the major Holy Land shrines, including a replica of the Grotto of Bethlehem and the Tomb of the Holy Sepulchre. The guided tour is the only way to get down into the underground replica catacombs.
